Salon Director - Catherine
Catherine has 40 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry. She has worked in Tunbridge Wells, then Crowborough for 7 years from the inception at Hair Gallery before moving to West London and working in Kew and Hampton. She returned to Hair Gallery in 2018 and bought the salon from her sister Lizzie in 2019.
An expert in all aspects of hairdressing, Catherine really enjoys creating looks for weddings, proms and parties. As a Wella Master Colourist, she loves a challenge when it comes to colouring hair, corrective colouring being a passion. Having curly hair herself Catherine has an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of dealing with curly hair. She adapts her cutting techniques for curly haired clients with great success.
Catherine sees clients on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday using the rest of her week for education and running the business.
Catherine is the salon owner and educator, training the assistants through their NVQ level 2. She is the author of two NVQ text books on hairdressing, published by NelsonThornes.
Creative Designer / Creative Colourist - Charlotte
Charlotte worked with us over three years ago as an apprentice. She has since developed many great skills working in a number of salons in the surrounding areas. She has now come back to us as a fully creative and experienced stylist and is looking forward to building up her clientele.
Colour is her passion, particularly colour corrections and balayage. Charlotte loves a colour challenge and is great at cutting, she looks forward to discussing with you how you can get the best out of your hair at home. She is very personable and a lovely addition to our team.
Stylist - Laura
Laura has been hairdressing for a few years. She loves colouring and cutting and also enjoys applying and styling tape in extensions. Laura is very professional and will help you with all your hair issues. She looks forward to meeting you.
Part Time Stylist - Lauren
Lauren is a well-rounded hairdresser who specialises in cutting, perming and colouring hair. After taking some time off to raise her children, she is excited to return to a salon environment and showcase her talents. Lauren is available on Thursdays from 3 pm and every other Saturday.
Artistic Designer - Emily
Emily works full time and enjoys all aspects of hairdressing – cutting, styling and colouring. She has a passion for balayage and loves to make her clients feel their best. She looks forward to meeting you.
Stylist - Ellie
Ellie is a very popular stylist, particularly in colouring and short haircuts. She loves a bouncy blowdry too! She is a lovely girl who is attentive to her clients needs, she is empathetic and knowledgeable in all aspects of hairdressing. Ellie is available for online booking and cant wait to meet you.
Stylist - Lottie
Lottie has been hairdressing for a couple of years and has previously worked and trained in Headmasters in Tunbridge wells. A good all round hairdresser Lottie is great with long balayages as well as short pixie cuts and men’s hairdressing. Lottie is a lovely girl who we know you will love. She looks forward to meeting you and is bookable online.
Stylist - Holly
Holly loves cutting, perming and colouring, and is a very popular stylist, looking after her clients very well. She is a quiet girl who will not chat excessivley while she is doing your hair so if this appeals to you she will be very happy to meet you. Holly is available to book online.
Stylist - Ruby
Ruby is our newly qualified Stylist who is available to book online for all haircuts. She is currently taking clients for half price balayage and foils to help her gain more experience in this area.

Salon Assistants - Danielle, Suzy, Elizabeth and Elliot
Danielle, Suzy, Elizabeth and Elliot are our salon assistants who you will see buzzing around the salon, tidying up, making coffee, shampooing with sublime head massages and generally helping Stylists.
Head Receptionist - Diana
Diana has been with Hair Gallery for 26 years. She is literally the backbone of the salon! Always with a smile on her face, Diana can be found on reception, in the office, ordering stock or even mopping the floor. We couldn’t manage without her.
Receptionist - Natalie
Natalie is our newest receptionist who is lovely with all the clients, she is an asset to the team and we are very happy to have found her.
